Skeletons in the Closet is a small company based in the Netherlands.
We are artists and create all products by hand. Usually one of a kind.
- Payments:
- All payments need to be made upfront. Payments plans are available, but limitted to a maximum of 2 payments.
- If a downpayment is required it is non refundable.
- Ready to ship items:
- Ready to ship items are sold as is, sometimes these items have been used in a photoshoot or for a trunk show, and the price reflects that.
- Ready to ship items will be shipped when payment has been cleared. If you need something for a certain date, please let us know before ordering.
- We ship items on Wednesdays.
- Made to order items:
- Made to order items are made after you order them. Usually they are made within 3-6 months, but if you need an item before a certain date, please let us know prior to ordering.
- An order can not be cancelled after you payed.
- Delivery times are an estimate.
- Any import taxes are yours to pay. We are not responsible for your import taxes.
- Refunds:
- There are no refunds on custom made items or ready to ship items. If something is wrong with your order, we will correct it, but you will not get a refund. This is to avoid people wearing items to a party and then returning it.
- If a package can not reach you, you will obviously get a refund. Refunds are made the same way you have payed it. Please know that depending on the way you pay, the return of funds may take some time. If you pay trough PayPal for example it has been know to take up to 14 days.
- If something is wrong with your order you have to notify us within 14 days of recieving the item. After that we will not be held responsible for any fitting faults.
- Shipping:
- The risk of shipping lies with the buyer. We ship our products with track and trace insurance. Only accessories are not shipped with track and trace. If you want them to have a track and trace please notify me before ordering.
- Please note that it is possible that, if you are outside of the Netherlands, you will be charged with import taxes. This is the responsibillity of the buyer. You can not send items back because you are charged with import taxes.
- If a package is returned to us because you profided the wrong adress, you will be required to pay for the extra shipping costs. If we made a mistake the item will be resend for free.
