About me

My name is Sannie, and I am the sole owner, employee, seamstress and manager of Skeletons in the Closet Clothing. I have been sewing since I was very very young, and ever since I was a child, I liked the big sisi princes dresses. This resulted into a complete love for victorian outfits. The hoops, but later on also the natural form and bustle period.
I collect as many old patterns as I can get, and fashion plates are the inspiration for most of my outfits.

In 2007 I decided to make this my full time job. And I have enjoyed it ever since. I have met great clients, models and photographers trough this line of work!

It is wonderfull work to do, to create a garment from a piece of fabric. Making outfits you can feel beautiful in.
