If you wish to order from Skeletons in the Closet Clothing it all starts with sending an email to

You can choose from the examples on the website, or have you very own design made. We will discuss design, fabrics, trimmings and pricing.

For the bespoke corsets and gowns in person fittings are obligatory, if you are unable to travel to the north of the Netherlands we can arrange a remote fitting with a mock-up. A mock-up will always be the propperty of Skeletons in the Closet.

The general pricelist is shown below. These are the base prices for custom garments. The starting point so to speak. Extra's like lace, exclusive fabrics, pipings, trimmings, appliques all add to that.

For example: A plain taffeta day bodice cost: 275 Euro's. A silk satin day bodice, with fine french laces and hand made silk buttons can cost up to 650 euro's or more.

You can see EXAMPLES of the items mentions when you click on the red letters. Please note that do not have an example picture of every item.

I also do not have everything I make named in the pricelist! I can make much more that listed below! Do not hessitate to get email me if you have a question!

Custom Made Corsets:

Custom made corset are drafted to the ptersonal measurements of the customers. They come with a mock-up for a fitting on a distance. This also means that you will have to pay for the shipping twice. Also the mock-up has to be send back to me.

Historial Corsets:

Historical reproduction are made with true Historical patterns. Some of the construction methodes are modern, but the shapes are true to the Era's

Corsets: All corset prices include: Coutil strenght layer, Steel boning, Two piece grommets, Ribbon Lacing.

Please note that these are the base prices, the price of a custom victorian gown completely depends on the style, fabrics and trimmings. If you are looking for inspiration on a victorian gown, try googling for Victorian Fashion Plate, they are our main inspiration. All prices are in Euro's.

I have seen this amazing Victorian Fashion plate, can you make me something like that?

Ofcourse Fashion plates are our main inspiration!

• Why are the shipping costs so high?
  I only ship insured. That is why the shipping costs are a bit higher than normal shipping cost.
  
• I do not like to buy clothes over the internet, can Igo to you store?
  I do not own a store. All the clothing is made by me, in my little attelier at home. I do not have a lot of clothes in stock.
  
  
• Can I pay in terms?
  Yes you can. For orders above 250 euro’s it is possible to pay in terms.
  
  
• I need clothes for an event next week, is that possible?
  Usualy I can not make an enitre outfit within a week. You can alway’s email me to ask. But most costumers buy their outfits 3-4 months before the special date.
  
  
• The item I bought does not fit.
  Do not wear the item, I can not take back worn items. Please email me as soon as possible, within 7 day’s. All non customised standard items such as skirts and tops can be returned. I can alter the item, or make you a new one. However, I am not responsible for weightloss or gain. When you order please check you size.
  
  
• I would like to have an item in a different fabric, is that possible?
  Yes, I can make items in different fabrics, please email me for more information.
  
  
• Do you sell clothes to other stores?
  That depends on the items. Please email me for more information.
  
  
• Do you ship to my country far far away?
  Skeletons in the Closet ships worldwide. Packages to Italia, Spain, Portugal and Greece are shipped by courier. This is because the normal posts does not work correctly in those countries.
  
  
• I am a model, can I model for you?
  You can always email me, but if you do, make sure you have an online portfolio.

• What is your return policy:
  If you are unhappy with you items, please contact me before you send it back. If the item does not fit correctly please make a picture of you while wearing the item and send it to me by email. Then we can discuss how to go from there. My goal is to have content clients., but I am not responsible for weight gain or loss or incorrect taken measurements. A mock-up usualy helps with finding the right fit for your body. There are not returns for sample sale items.

• I have a very beautiful fabric, can you make a corset out of it?
  That depends on the fabric. Email me for more information.
