1893 corset
This corset is made after a pattern la mode illustree of 1893. This underbust corset is short, and quite pointy at the front. It has got 3 hip gussets that give it an amazing shape. It will have at least 20 pieces of steel boning, and it could be trimmed amazingly with flossing and lace.
Historical gusseted corsets are more complex to make, due to the larger number of pannels and the cut.
Historical corsets always come with a mock-up service.
